In a new podcast, BIP Capital COO Mark Flickinger talks about the importance of mitigating risk as companies consider how to bring employees back to their office during the COVID-19 pandemic. The firm has created a Return-to-Office Plan for its employees and portfolio companies, which it is sharing in an effort to help other organizations develop their own strategies for returning to their offices in as safe a manner as possible.

Flickinger also unveiled a new survey, open for public participation, that will attempt to measure respondents’ current perceptions and tolerance levels related to potential virus risk. The survey is ongoing and will be updated regularly as more respondents complete the online questionnaire.
The BIP Capital Return-to-Office Plan is in a PDF format and is available without charge. Flickinger said organizations are welcome to utilize the plan as is or as a starting point for developing their own back-to-work approach, recognizing that there is no “one-size-fits-all” solution to the complex challenge of responsibly allowing employees back into the office.
